2005 Pan Mass Challenge

As most of you know, on August 6th and 7th 2005 I will be riding in my 4th Pan Mass Challenge to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Hospital and he Jimmy Fund. To date, I have raised over $11,000 for the cause, $3,100 this year alone.
I started riding in 2002 after my mother was successfully treated for colon cancer. She was then treated at Dana Farber in 2004 for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and this past spring, celebrated the one year cancer free milestone.
This past March brought news of my stepfather Peter being diagnosed with Liver cancer. Peter is not receiving treatment and will remain at home while we all ride this out by his side.
I don't always know how to deal with things like cancer striking a loved one, and spend a great deal of time feeling scared and helpless. Riding in the PMC empowers me in the fight against cancer and allows me to impact that fight in a positive manner by funding the teams of doctors that provide treatments.
The past two years my boys Caleb and Hayden have also joined my family's battle against cancer, and at 4 and 5 years old are aware of their ability to help by riding their bikes in the PMC for kids.
If you have not donated to the PMC and would like too make a donation, please visit the Pan Mass Challenge website and enter my egift ID which is PO0022. Thanks in advance for your support.
See you out on the road!
